Bremen coach Schaaf to stay through 2012 (AP)
Long-serving Werder Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf has extended his contract by a further two years until June 2012. Werder manager Klaus Allofs said Monday Schaaf has “proven over many years that he is a very important factor in our success with his ability to improve teams and players.” The 48-year-old has been Bremen coach since May 1999.
Schaaf commits future to Bremen
Thomas Schaaf has signed a new deal with Werder Bremen, extending his contract for another two years until the summer of 2012. “It was not difficult to accept this new challenge,” he said.
