Villa’s Shorey to join Nottingham Forest on loan (AP)
England fullback Nicky Shorey will join League Championship club Nottingham Forest on loan this week after losing his place in Aston Villa's first team. Shorey will join the second-tier club on Thursday and is set to stay for a month. Shorey started Villa's first five matches of the season but has since been replaced at left back by Stephen Warnock.
