Arsenal striker Vela signs new contract with club (AP)
Arsenal striker Carlos Vela signed a new “long-term” contract with the Premier League club on Thursday. The Mexico international has been used more regularly in recent weeks since Robin van Persie was ruled out until April due to injury. “Carlos is a fantastic talent and we have already seen glimpses of this during his performances,” manager Arsene Wenger said.
