Angulo agrees to end contract with Sporting Lisbon (AP)
Sporting Lisbon says it has reached an agreement with Miguel Angel Angulo to release the former Spain midfielder from his contract. Angulo joined Lisbon this offseason on a one-year contract but the club said Sunday he has decided to retire from professional football. The 32-year-old former Valencia player has barely featured for Lisbon this season, starting only three games.
